Never! Never sell your car to your friend. Even when they know the condition of the car. Even that they have acknowledged that a 8-year-old car would have a "kurap" exterior look, they will make an issue out of it.
Unless you actually hate your friend, and you are ready to make a foe out of him. And if you are happy to add to your I-don't-want-to-friend-you list then, go ahead.
Oh and unless your car doesn't have the kuraputtish look and that also possbbly mean it's a young car, then also OK. Other than that, sell it to strangers.
And perhaps it is your friends' lack of vocabolary, but describing the car that he has viewed and has driven himself as "kurap" only depict that he needs to start wearing glasses.
