Ayam Siat

Yesterday, I felt so much like eating mee hoon soup. And I made them.

Made begedil. Made super dengung sambal kicap (oohh terliur memikirkannya).Boiled a kilo of chicken breasts. Seperate the bones and flesh, put the bones back in the soup and proceeded to siat the chicken breast. A quarter way through siating I was thinking to myself, whylah I trouble myself like this. Letih woi.

And then when it comes the time for me to celurkan the mee hoon, I found out that I ran out of mee hoon. Ayooo. Whylah tak check? Bijak bijak. Since I didn't bother to make the nasi impit earlier, I had to resort to boiling the spaghetti instead. Sungguh tak sama.

Alhamdullilah the sambal kicap took everything over. So jadi sedaplah segala. Oooh perasannya. I don't knowlah about you, but I cannot eat mee soup or soto without sambal kicap. No sambal kicap on mee soup most likely won't eat.

And we had a luxury of everything. Loads of ayam siat. Loads of begedil. Sambal kicap yang boleh di top up sesuka hati. Bawang goreng and soup lah of course. I guess that's the best thing about eating home cooked food. Otherwise kenalah pergi buffet, eat all you can.

We had leftover of ayam siat. So, the next day, I made sandwiches out of them.

Mix with a dollop or two or three spoons of mayonnaise into the ayam. Mix them up. Get some bread. Spread butter on the bread (if you like). Slice up cucumber and get fresh green salad yang ada titisan air supaya nampak fresh dan menyegarkan seperti dalam gambar iklan burger. Spread the dolloped ayam siat onto the bread and put all greeneries for effect and make sandwiches out of them.

And the taste is just like the chicken sandwich that they sell in those expensive kedai kopi. Just put it in the plastic container thingy, label it as setarbak. Letak harga mahal pun orang beli.

Sudikah anda membelinya? Dapat free lollipop dengan setiap pembelian.

Betul tu, tak complete without the sambal kicap. Emm...lama nya tak makan goreng pisang cicah sambal kicap yum..yum..

Soto is one of my fav food and yg sedap mesti yg buat sendiri. Tapi you punya I gerenti sedap..nak semangkuk bleh.

remove the mee hoon ke apa ke.. just give me ayam siat, lots of begedil, the soup and some cili kicap.. oh yeahhhh

aliya - kalau sendiri buat begedil untuk makan sendiri sendiri boleh buat saiz begedilnya pelbagai rupa. lepas tu kan saya ada leftover, saya simpan dalam freezer. Bebila boleh makan bersama lauk lain. :D

goboklama - yayyyy. saya pun buat sambal lebih untuk tujuan-tujuan yang berikut. macam2 boleh makan dengan sambal kicap ni.

BF - errr tak taulah sedap ke tak. sebab orang lain tak leh verify, i ngaku sendiri sendiri ajele. tee he he

jo - ohh ko tak makan mee hoonya pun ya? eh tetiba aku teringat warung mees oup masa office kita kat PJ. taklah over the top. tapi bila teringat rasa terliur lah pulak.

hey hey I made mee hoon soup last saturday. Kalau takde meehoon, pakai macaroni pun best tapi taruh daging sikit.

hmm.. tapi kan.. tak cayalah Pn Lollies buat meehoon soup.. bergedil lagi.. ayam lagi.. sandwich lagi..tak percaya saya.

elisa - buat buat segera. Tapi bubur lambuk dah best on its own. kalau ia berempah kacau aje sambal kicap tu. but i looove sambal kicap.

my sambal kicap
mula-mula goreng tanpa minyak 15 biji (he he) cili hijau yang kecil tu. kalau nak cili padi silakan (berdengung). Goreng sampai pijar

lepas tu masukkan dalam 6 sliced bwang puutih.

goreng goreng. Jaga jangan hangus

Pastu tumbuk (I dry blend. tak kuasa nak menumbuk ni)

pastu masuk dalam bekas and letak kicap. Mesti kicap malaysia saja. Kicap indo tak jalan. I used either kicap kipas udang manis.

Then letak garam sikit ikut cita rasa.

Kalau suka masam2 perahlah limau. Tapi i tak suka sangat ada rasa masam.

megigoreng - ko semdiri buat aku rasa nak makan indomi mee goreng.

Aku kan kalau buat soto aku tak siat pun ayam tu... aku potong je kecik2, semua sekali aku taruk dlm sup tu, bila nak makan tu ambik sup dgn ketul2 ayam sekali... ni aku buat masa makan kami anak beranak je lar... Kalau ada tetamu, aku siat lah jugak... hu hu hu... ikut buku lah!

Masya-Allah,
the sambal cili kicap was so so so nice!!! I sampai buat cicah bergedil!
Tapi I guna kicap indo food, tambah apple cider vinegar and kicap masin cair skit.
The garlic goreng memang kasi Umph lah.
and then I tak tahu apa maksud 'pijar' so, I goreng sampai it looks roasted and hidung I dah tak tahan pedih. gitu ke?

ah ni - aku ni teringin nak ayam siat tu. tulah pasal buat. kalau tak tak koser aje nak buat all the works.

ina - nah i kasi aje. sila sila. tafaddhali.

elisa - hahahhah. itu macam pun ada. sebenarnya nak ikutkan goreng sampai pecah kulit. tapi roasted pun is good enough. janji cilinya jangan kilat seperti asal.

hah! bagus gak you kasi resepi kalau pakai kicap indo. i akan capur kicap masin gak lain kali bila kehabisan stok.
